2.4 Analysis

The segmented image is then extracted and converted into black and white then sent to the convolutional neural network for analyzing the value of the note extracted. This simply works on the basis of imaging the whole image in a two-dimensional matrix, and each container contains a pixel value which determines the color of the image in shades of gray where 1 is black and 0 is white. So each of the pixels in the image is an input for the neural network as depicted in Fig. 6 [16].
